Milena Govich

Milena Govich is an actor director, musician, and actor. She has helmed numerous episodes of TV such as Chicago Med (2015) (211) and The Equalizer (221). She was also the Co-EP/Producing director on Dick Wolf's CBS series FBI (2018). She is currently a part of two pilots that are currently in the process of development. Milena was selected as one of eight directors in AFI's prestigious Directing Workshop for Women. Unspeakable the short film she created, as well as a TV series proof of concept was shown at SXSW. It also took home Best Episodic at the Seattle International Film Festival, and Best Pilot at SoHo International Film Festival. Her short film Temporary (2017) has been screened across the nation and won the Best Narrative Short at Anthem Film Festival, Best Dark Comedy at Atlanta ShortsFest as well as the Director's Choice Award at Sedona International Film Festival. Milena has appeared in more than 100 television shows. She first gained national attention in CBS's Love Monkey (2006), then as the prostitute/con-artist Candy on three seasons of Rescue Me (2004) (Denis Leary/FX). Conviction (2006) was her debut on CBS. She later became the only female detective on Law & Order (1990). She has appeared or recurred on numerous other shows, including K-Ville (2007) (Fox); The Defenders (2010) (CBS); Make It or Break It (2009) (ABC Family) as well as in the role of Lori Stevens on the MTV drama Finding Carter (2014). Milena has appeared in many movies that include Sordid Things (2010); A Novel Romance (2011) as a co-star with Steve Guttenberg; Pass the Light (2015) which starred alongside Method Man; as well as #Lucky Number (2015). Milena, a native of Norman, Oklahoma was the valedictorian in her high-school, but before that, she graduated with two major vocal performances and premed at the University of Central Oklahoma. She was also valedictorian of her high school. Then, she used her classical ballet lessons to take part in a show on Broadway in the show starring Rob Marshall and Sam Mendes "Cabaret" at Studio 54.
