Rena Sherel SOFER

Rena Sherel Sfer is an American actress from the United States. She is well-known for her roles on American daytime TV, guests on shows that are episodic and made-for-television films. Sofer was recognized with the Daytime Emmy Award by CBS in 1995 for playing Lois Cerullo, the role she played in the soap opera General Hospital. Quinn Fuller has been her role in CBS's soap drama The Bold and The Beautiful since 2013. Sofer was the daughter of Susan Sofer (a psychologist professor) and Martin Sofer (a Conservative rabbi). Following the divorce of her parents the family relocated to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1970, Sofer moved with her brother David and father to Teaneck in New Jersey. However, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania as a young child. They lived in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father led Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She later attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Mordern Orthodox Jewish high school in Paramus, New Jersey. Sofer resided in North Bergen, New Jersey and her father was rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. After graduation from North Bergen High School she was a student at Montclair State College. Sofer appeared as Lois Marie Cerullo for the first time on General Hospital. Her first appearance was in 1993 as a manager of an ensemble. However, her first high-profile part was that of Rocky McKenzie on the daytime soap show Loving (1988-91). Perhaps her most famous role is Lois Cerullo, a nurse on General Hospital from December 15 the 24th of September 1993 to September 24 in 1996. She later returned as a guest star (February 7-17, 1997; September 30 to October 2, 1997). In 1995, Sofer won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her portrayal of Lois. Sofer was invited to join CBS' soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful in the new role in the role of Quinn Fuller. Her first episode aired July 12. Sofer has appeared in several popular prime-time television shows as a guest star/supporting cast member role: Seinfeld, Melrose Place, The Chronicle, Ed, Friends, Spin City, Blind Justice, Ghost Whisperer, 24, NCIS, and Two and a Half Men.
