Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz is an Canadian actress. She is most well-known for her appearances on ABC Family's Kyle XY as Andy Jensen and Syfy's Caprica science fiction drama series as Lacy Rand. Emily Hartwell, a science fiction actress was born Maya Hartwell. Recently, she was a part of Sandy in the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz is of Polish origin and lived for an entire time in Poland in the ninth grade. She lived there with her uncle and attended an elementary school in Jelenia Gora. She then went on to study at Vancouver Film School. When her brother introduced her to the Pulp Fiction, she became attracted to acting. Her acting career began in 2002 , appearing in Jeremiah and John Doe. Between 2007 and 2009 she portrayed Andy Jensen in Kyle XY. In 2008, she was a guest star as Andy Jensen in Every Second Counts on the Hallmark Channel. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast to portray Lacy Rand in Caprica's TV drama featuring Eric Stoltz & Alessandra Turresani. Hellcats was her following film. In 2012, she appeared as an actor in Jane Espenson's second season, romantic comedy web series Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz played Emily in the series Continuum. She was also Samantha in The Green Inferno horror film directed by Eli Roth. The Green Inferno was originally shot in 2012. It premiered internationally in 2015. Apanowicz was cast in Volition as Angela. It premiered in 2020. In the year 2019, Apanowicz was the lead character Sandy in the second season Netflix film You.
