Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi Ukraine on August 14, 1982. Kunis was seven years old when she old, immigrated to America along with her parents Elvira und Mark Kunis. Then, she settled in Los Angeles. It was a hard beginning for the Kunis family that came to their new home with only $250. But Kunis' parents each gave up their professional lives to move out of their homes, were determined to make a better life for their children. Mark, a former mechanical engineer, was quickly employed as a driver for cabs. Elvira, who was a teacher of Physics in Ukraine was eventually in charge of the pharmacy. Kunis stated that he didn't completely understand the American cultural norms when he first arrived in America. "I did not understand the American people. I couldn't comprehend the language. My essay to get into college began with, "Imagine being blind and deaf as a child." That's what it felt like moving into the States. However, I came through it pretty fast." Milena Markovna Kunis is daughter of Mark Kunis (Ukraine) and Elvira (Chenivtsi), Ukraine. Her birth date was on the 14th of August, 1983. She has a brother who is older. Her mother is employed as a teacher of physics, however, she runs a pharmacy well, while her father is an engineer in mechanical engineering by profession. He also doubles up by working as a cab driver. She is of Jewish descent.The family moved to Los Angeles when she was seven. Rosewood Elementary School was her first option. When she was nine years old she started acting lessons. After auditioning for commercials, she was given her first TV role, in the show 'Daily Days of Our Lives', 1994. In 1998, she was offered her first big role as 'Jackie in the popular sitcom 'That '70s show'.After the acclaim about her performance in the role of 'Jackie', she lent her voice for the character of 'Meg' Griffin', in the animated sitcom 'Family Guy'
