2 Chainz Biography

 Tauheed Epps is an American hip-hop and rapper who is more popularly known by the name of 2 Chainz. Georgia native, he formed the hip-hop duo Playaz Circle together with a high-school friend. Their debut album 'Supply & Demand", was a modest success. Epps later released 'Based on the T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It became a massive success, debuting at the top of the charts at one on the US Billboard 200. It sold 147,000 copies in the first week. He hasn't looked back since the album's release and has since risen to be one of the most respected rappers in America. He has been nominated for six Grammy Awards to date. One of those Grammys was awarded to him for his song "No Problem". He kindled controversy in 2013, after being detained in a departing flight at the Los Angeles International Airport as his luggage contained marijuana and promethazine. However, his brushes with law enforcement haven't affected his popularity in any way. His fourth and current album of studio work, "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music" was came out in June of 2017. "Based on an R.U. Story', 2 Chainz's debut studio album, could be described as his debut album and also the most popular of his. It was a huge hit and reached the top of the US Billboard 200. The album was also sold out within a few weeks. It was eventually sold more than 623,000 times throughout the year. The album was a hit with songs like "No Lie, 'Birthday Song, and I'm Different. It was also nominated for 'Best Rap Album at the 55th Grammy Awards. Most reviews were positive. 2 Chainz married Kesha Ward in 2013. They have three children: Heaven, Harmony and Halo. He is well-known for his bad habits and his thriving career. He has been arrested several times for possession of drugs.
