Missy Peregrym Bio

Born in Montreal, Quebec, Missy lived her entire life in Surrey, British Columbia, with her father, a minister; her mother; and two sisters. She began her career in front of cameras at the age of 18 when she began modeling. In the next few years, print ads were transformed into commercials for Mercedes Benz and Sprint Canada. In no time, Hollywood was on the scene. Missy made her first appearance as a guest on the drama series Dark Angel (2000) opposite Jessica Alba. Then, she was cast as Julia in the critically acclaimed television series The Chris Isaak Show (2001). Her next audition landed her the part as Tory Stratton in Black Sash (2003). She also appeared in the television series Life as We Know It (2004) as well as Reaper (2007). Missy starred as Haley Graham in the 2006 gymnastics movie Stick It (2006). She also starred as police officer Andy McNally in ABC's prime-time cop show Rookie Blue (2010). Missy is a serious soccer player. But, her current schedule has forced her to give up the sport sometimes. She also loves snowboarding and outdoors sports in the local Vancouver mountains. She resides in Vancouver with her family.
