Kristin Landen Davis Bio

Kristin Landen, also referred to as Kristin Le Davis, was born February 23, 1965. 1 Kristin Landen is an American actress. Her most well-known character is that of Charlotte York Goldenblatt, a romantic comedy on HBO (1998-2004). She was nominated at the Emmys as well as the Golden Globes in 2004 for her character Charlotte and she reprised her role in the movies Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). Davis's big break came in 1995 playing villainous Brooke Armstrong in the Fox prime-time soap show Melrose Place (1995-1996). Her film credits include The Shaggy Dog (2006), Deck the Halls (2006), Couples Retreat (2009), Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012) and Holiday in the Wild (2019). Davis made her Broadway debut in the role of Mabel Cantwell in the 2012 revival of The Best Man, and her West End debut playing Beth Gallagher in the original 2014. Davis was born in Boulder, Colorado. Davis is an only child. Her parents divorced as when she was a newborn. Her adoption was by her stepfather, the then-University of Colorado Boulder professor Keith Davis] after he married her mother, Dorothy, a university data analyst in the year 1968. She is the daughter of three step-sisters who are all part of the first marriage of her father. 5: During her childhood, she and parents relocated to Columbia, South Carolina, where her father served as provost and taught psychology at the University of South Carolina.
