Denise Lee Richards Bio

She was featured in the 1998 music video for Blues Traveler's song Canadian Rose. Richards played the role of Christmas Jones, a nuclear-physicist in The World Is Not Enough (1999), a James Bond movie that had a huge box office gross. Although she considered her role to be "brainy", athletic, and had depth of character, it was criticised as not credible. Many people commented on her outfit which consisted of a tank top with a low cut and tight shorts. Entertainment Weekly ranked her as one of the most unsavory Bond girls ever. She was also named "Worst Supporting Actress" at 1999 Razzie Awards. Richards also appeared in the situation comedy series Spin City, Two and a Half Men and Friends. In 2005, she also starred on the UPN series Sex, Love & Secrets. Richards was seen in many roles throughout the 2000s that parodied her image and used it as a sex symbol. These included Undercover Brother, Valentine and Scary Movie 3. Five months after her birth, she was photographed for a Playboy magazine nude pictorial. Richards also posed seminude in Jane magazine's July 2006 issue to raise funds for Clothes Off Our Back Foundation. She ranked 9th on Maxim's 50 Sexiest Women in 1999. In 2001, she was voted 2nd on FHM's USA 100 Sexiest Women, 5th on FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in 2001, and 19th in AskMen.com’s Most Beautiful Women. Richards was paired with Maksim Chrmerkovskiy on the 8th season, Dancing with the Stars. She was eliminated second in March 2009, Richards performed "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" in the seventh inning at Wrigley Field, May 1, 2009.
