Thora Birch

 Thora Birch, born March 11, 1982 was an American actress. Her first film role was in Purple People Eater (1988) in which she was awarded the Young Artist Award for "Best Young Artistress under nine years old". Birch was a big star when she was an infant and was featured in films like All I Want for Christmas (1991), Patriot Games (92), Hocus Pocus (93), Monkey Trouble (1994), Now and Then (1995) and Alaska (1996). In 1999 she was nominated for an BAFTA nomination. Following that, she appeared in Ghost World (2001) as Enid. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. Birch was also nominated for an Emmy Award in 2003 for her performance as the main character in Homeless to Harvard: The Liz Murray Story. Birch has also appeared in Dungeons & Dragons (2000) and The Hole (2001), Silver City (2004) and Dark Corners (2006). She was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2003. Birch played the role of Whisperer Mary/Gamma during the season 10 episode of The Walking Dead (2019-202). Birch is Jack Birch's oldest son, was born in Los Angeles. Birch is German-Jewishand has Scandinavian and French-Canadian in her ancestry. [6] The name Thora, which she has adopted, is taken from the name of Thora, the Norse god of thunder and lightning ("Thor") and could be her name if she were a boy. Kian Bolt Birch is her younger brother. Both of her parents have been actors in adult films , and also appeared in Deep Throat. They were hesitant to promote Thora due to their previous experience working in the entertainment industry. But the babysitter noticed Thora imitating commercials and encouraged them to show her photograph to agents. The first time she got noticed was at the age of four, after her babysitter brought her along to auditions for an Quaker Oats commercial.
